Voluntary school contributions
Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

Financial assistance
If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.
Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
Schooling costs
At Epping Heights Public School parents receive an invoice each semester which outlines all the expected costs for the coming two terms. These costs include subject contributions such as work books, texts books and online subscriptions, technology levy, excursions, creative and practical arts and specialist sports programs and carnivals. The subject contribution payment also includes consumables such as paper, stationery, art supplies and photocopying.
The invoice also includes a request to make a 'voluntary contribution' to the school. The current suggested contribution is $135 per family. These contributions make up a large part of the funds available for resourcing the teaching across the key learning areas. We very much appreciate the receipt of these contributions.
The invoice also includes a request to make a voluntary donation to the library fund. These donations are tax-deductible. The suggested donation per family is currently $80.
Some parents who are able, make additional donations to the school which are gratefully acknowledged and very much appreciated. Some parents choose to support a specific program area such as technology. Funds have been used to supplement the cost of providing technology resources for classrooms. Literacy and numeracy are other important areas which you may like to support with additional donations.
Methods of payment include cheque, cash, Eftpos (in person) or parent online payment (POP). Instructions for paying with POP are included in the semester invoice or you can download the parent and carer instructions for POP payments (PDF 102KB).
