Book Week
Book Week is a much-loved event at our school, celebrating the joy of reading. Students participate in a range of fun activities and can join teachers to dress up as their favourite book characters. This event inspires imagination, encourages reading and fosters a lifelong love of books.
Education Week and Open day
During Education Week, we welcome families into our classrooms to see their child's work. The celebrations also include a vibrant performance concert featuring bands, dance and choirs to highlight the diverse talents of our students.
100 days of Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten students celebrate 100 days of school with a joyful day of learning and fun. They are invited to dress up as centenarians to participate in learning activities based on the number 100.
Swim School
Each year we offer students from years 3-6 to attend the optional DoE School Swimming and Water Safety Program at Kuringai Fitness and Aquatic Centre. This is an intensive learn to swim program which develops water confidence and provides students with basic skills in water safety and survival. The program runs over 10 days and each daily lesson is 45 minutes.
Harmony Day
Each year, our school proudly celebrates Harmony Day- embracing the rich cultural diversity within our community. Students are invited to dress in traditional cultural clothing or orange, symbolising inclusiveness and respect. The day culminates in a vibrant community concert where students and parents share aspects of their culture through dance, music, and storytelling.
Read With Me
Our school proudly promotes a love of reading through our Read with Me program. Students are rewarded for reading every 100 nights at home, by selecting a free book. This program is proudly co-sponsored by the school and P & C.
