What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Canteen

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

EHPS School Lunch Service

The EHPS School Lunch Service is a P&C run initiative dedicated to serving nutritious meals to our students. Launched in the third term of 2023, the service currently offers pre-ordered lunches exclusively on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Profits generated are returned back into the school through the P&C. The menu is curated to include healthy, wholesome meal choices for the students. All selections from the Sandwiches, Salads & Fruits, Drinks and Hot Food category are available on all operational days. The daily specials change each day to offer an even wider variety of choices for our students.

Orders can be placed via the Qkr! App (Apple App Store and Google Play), or through the Qkr! website at https://qkr-store.qkrschool.com/store/#/home. All meal orders must be made in advance. Orders for the day close at 7:30 AM.

There is an option to select the portion size for the daily specials to suit the requirements of all students. The regular portion is tailored to suit the needs of our younger students. We have also attached a document with info on how the app works. Please reach out to us in case you face any difficulties using the App to place orders. The food would be delivered to your child in his/her classroom. No food can be purchased at the school. Please do not send any money with the child for food. The students are expected to carry their own cutlery to help reduce waste and make sustainable choices. For all queries/concerns regarding the food service, please write to us at eppingheights.canteen@gmail.com. The school office would not be able to help you with any queries related to the lunch orders.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.
